Recurring events in Canale d'Agordo

First Saturday of February

The Casparetha it is a non-competitive night-time winter walk that takes place every first Saturday in February, located along the cycle path, starting from Piazza Papa Luciani up to Pian De Sabion, through the suggestive Garés Valley.

Last Sunday of Carnival

The Žinghenésta the last Sunday of the carnival is celebrated with a procession of special characters with ancient masks of the Ladin carnival who parade through the Bios Valley and gather in Canale for the heart of the party, with dancing in the square and ending with "the trial of the Carnival".

Winter period

The Gara de le Ridòle with the old sleds once used to carry wood or for other transports.

Easter

The Tiro al Vof, a centuries-old Canale tradition which is celebrated on Easter day and is mainly dedicated to the entertainment of children, but also of adults. This is a particular game, hard-boiled eggs in their shells are used as targets and you have to hit them completely with a coin.

June 24th

The Sagra de San Doane it is the most important and is celebrated on June 24th with the holy mass in the archpriest church; during this festival the market stalls are located along the main streets of the town while in the square there is the local food and wine tent and the amusement park.

El dì del trator, gathering of vintage and modern tractors with a parade through the villages of the valley.
